About Greg:
Greg Harrison Davis is an emerging NYC-based playwright and screenwriter. Upon graduating Boston University with degrees in Film/TV and Psychology, Davis made his off-off Broadway debut as both playwright and producer at The Secret Theatre with his first original play, The Virgin Slayer. This play went on to win top prize at Manhattan Repertory Theatre’s Winter One-Act Play Competition and make its off-Broadway debut as a full-length at The Players Theatre, where Davis enjoyed a residency from 2016 to 2019. Since then, he has produced development readings of his full-length plays, Writer’s Remorse and 60 Yards North of Roanoke, as well as a production of his one-act play, Writer’s Block, for New York Theater Festival’s NY Summerfest. Writer’s Remorse placed as a second-rounder in the Austin Film Festival Playwriting Competition, and 60 Yards North of Roanoke was a finalist in the ScreenCraft Stage Play Competition. Davis’s film/TV projects include a short film adaptation of Writer’s Remorse, along with another short film (L’highm!), a web series (Famous Tweets of World History), and a number of completed screenplays. He looks forward to developing his theatrical works so that audiences may enjoy watching them as much as he enjoys working on them.
